Deep Creek Lake Camping Information
1. Camping season begins on April 1 and ends on October 31. Camping is limited to 14 days per year. However, from April 1 to Memorial Day and Labor Day to October 31, an additional seven (7) days are permitted.
2. There is a fee of $7.00 per night per site for Montgomery County residents and a fee of $15.00 per night per site for non-residents of Montgomery County. Cash Only.
3. Registrations are made at the park office. If the park office is closed, read posted instructions. Payment can be made by the honor system envelope located at the campground entrance, but please check site first and check the Reservation Due-In List posted in Kiosk to verify the site is not reserved. (No reservations are accepted by envelope system.)
4. Reservations can be made at the park office or by telephone during hours of operation. Full payment (cash only) is due when making reservations in person at the office. You can reserve a campsite by telephone, however if the reserved date is within 10 days, you must come to the Park Office to reserve/pay for the site. Payment (cash or postal money orders only) are due within 7 days of the date the reservation was made.
5. No refunds, no credits (inclement weather included) and no changes or exchanging dates to reservations/registrations once they have been made. There are no refunds for campers who vacate their site prior to the time they have reserved and paid for.
6. Check out time is 3:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
7. There are modern restroom facilities and showers in the camp area.
8. Fires are permitted only in fireplaces provided for that purpose. Campers must provide their own wood. Campers are responsible for emptying their trash daily. A dumpster is provided in the camping area for that purpose.
9. The camp area is patrolled regularly for your safety and convenience. The park office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the camping season.
10. Pets are not permitted in the campground but are permitted in designated areas of the park.
11. No person is permitted to consume, sell, distribute, or transport alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs on park property.
