Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children's playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends.
Park Hours are 6:00 am-sunset, daily.

The park offers several picnic areas for families and groups. Tables and charcoal grills are available around Deep Creek Lake and at the Hill Road Day Use Area. Groups may also reserve picnic pavilions for reunions, birthday parties or other special functions.  For more information, click on the link to the left or to make a pavilion reservation, please contact the park office at 215-234-4528.
