Green Lane Park
GLP wildlife festival


Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children's playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends.  Park Hours are 6:00 am-sunset, daily.

September 27th - Upper Perkiomen Bird & Wildlife Festival 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Live bird & butterfly demonstrations, tips for inviting birds to your backyard, live music, hands-on kid's games & activities, natural crafts, art & plants, food sales, hayrides and more.  All ages; FREE; all activities will be held in and adjacent to Green Lane Park Amphitheater.  Presented by Audubon PA & Green Lane Park

BOATING
Green Lane Park has three bodies of water totaling 870 acres.
Green Lane Reservoir - 800 acres
Deep Creek Lake - 38 acres
Knight Lake - 32 acres

PRIVATE BOATING
*Green Lane Reservoir is a restricted use lake. Only non-powered and electric-powered boats are permitted. All boats require Park registration & 10-day quarantine at Walt Road Day Use Area. Fee: Boat rack or trailer space - $75.00 County resident; $125.00 non–resident.
*Deep Creek Lake: Only non-powered and electric-powered boats are permitted. No quarantine required.
*Knight Lake: Only walk-in boats, canoes, kayaks, & small boats are permitted. No quarantine required.

BOAT RENTALS & LAKE TOURS
Boat, Kayak, Paddleboard Rentals are available at 2821 Hill Road. Open Saturday & Sunday only, 9 am to 6 pm. Lake Tours (1) hour aboard pontoon boat.

Camping
The Deep Creek Lake Area offers overnight camping (primitive only) for families, organized groups and equestrians. ALL CAMPING is by reservation only and fees apply. All campgrounds are open April 1-October 31.  For more information, or to make a reservation, please contact the park office at 215-234-4528.

Picnicking

The park offers several picnic areas for families and groups. Tables and charcoal grills are available around Deep Creek Lake and at the Hill Road Day Use Area. Groups may also reserve picnic pavilions for reunions, birthday parties or other special functions.  For more information, or to make a pavilion reservation, please contact the park office at 215-234-4528.

Trails
There are several miles of nature trails that attract hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians to enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.  Green Lane Park Trail Map

Leashed pets are welcome in the park but are restricted from entering any of the creeks or lake waters.
